Capitol Reef

The highlight of the day were the cowboys. On our way to Capitol Reef we had traffic in the middle of nowhere. We were surprised to see cattle on the road and a lot of people on horses (of course they wore a hat, a plead, jeans and boots 🙂 ) trying to get the cattle to the meadow. They weren’t as efficient and so we waited quiet a long time and got overtaken by some cows twice. Finally the camper in front of us dared overtaking the cattle and we arrived in Capitol Reef before sunset.

On a hike to the big arch of the national park we got lost twice. But thanks to that we just arrived for a beautiful setting.

We traveled further on to Arches National Park.
